What would cause a 2001 Ford Explorer to crank but not start?

I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. As I was driving, it acted as if it ran out of gas when I have a half tank and now it will not start. It cranks, but nothing. I have replaced the crank position sensor, cam position sensor, and the fuel filter. The fuel pump relay checks out good, the fuel pump engages and hums and the fuel rail is getting fuel. Any ideas on what it could be?

I don't know if you got your problem fixed or not but when it runs it seem like it ran out of gas on the on the run while it's going down the road I wish I had a Chevrolet and come out to find out how to spark and everything I checked all the spark plug wires everything end up being one of the power packs the coil packs was bad might want to start there
