brake lights not coming on but blinkers and high brake light works.

replaced brake pedal switch and fuses put in new bulbs and still not working.

Only the top break light works we replaced the bulbs and fuses already and they still want work

The wires that leave the signal/hazard assembly on the steering column are too short and pull out of the plug. Try tilting your steering wheel up and see what happens. I ended up replacing the plug, extending the wires. Now I have brake lights,turn signals and hazard lights in the back. Thanks Car Gurus.

Total life saver, loose wiring in the steering column, tilt it all the way up and the lights work. As soon as I let go, nothing. Will work on extending the wiring this week.
