Ford Explorer engine

I have a 03 explorer with a 4.0 sohc and the eight
digit in vin is an E I bought an 02 explorer with a
good motor to change it is a 4.0 sohc and didn't
realize that the eight digit is a K will they exchange
with each other if not what do I have to do to make
it work
