2005 Explorer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The cabin fan does not seem to function well on
setting 1 or 2 at idle. It improves minimally only
when switching between these two settings. It also
improves somewhat at cruising speed. On setting
3 or 4 it improves dramatically at any vehicle
speed. What is the issue?

View the net on how to check the resistance on the various pins with a multi-meter. If you are unable to locate the proper readings from the net, take your's off, bring it to the auto parts store and note the readings from the new module as compared with yours before you purchase.
