Just bought a 2002 Mustang with a 3.8 and 56,437
on the miles. It will crank but not start. Have
already replaced the fuel pump as it had sat for 4
months. Had 2 keys cut and programmed because
the theft system didn’t recognize the keys. It will
turn over with the new keys but still no fire. Any
help would be appreciated!
Your car has an ignition or fuel pump problem. You're either not getting proper fuel or spark. Really could be either. Without seeing the car, it's not possible to say what the exact problem is. This is an obvious headache for you and has taken up a lot of your time. Why don't you take it to a mechanic to diagnose. You'll then have his opinion and estimate and can have him fix it, or use his review as a guide to doing repairs yourself?
