Car insurance for 17 year old

I am a 17 year old male and I want a 2004
Ford Mustang GT for my first car.  I was
wondering how much the insurance would
be on it.

Call your insurance agent. Full coverage will be expensive for you with a hot car.

Really expensive, you could get a break buy listing it on you parents policy with you as full time driver, but even then it won't be cheap. Some insurance companies offer discounts to good students so if you have a high GPA you might also qualify for more discounts. Best to talk to your insurance of choice to see what is available for your age and vehicle. Of course the best plan would be to wait until your 21 then buy your hotrod.

Yes get a 4 cylinder Camry or something similar which should get you through college.
