how many numbers/letters are in the vin for 69' mach one

I just bought a 69' mach one,no engine/trany.   just a complete body with interior.It's missing the info tag on the door & firewall.How do I find out anything about my car ? It's original color is red with gold striping, burgundy interior.

Check to see if the Vin tag is still in the bottom left corner of the windsheild, if so take it to your local Ford dealer and they can tell you all you need to know
