Auto value

Asked by GuruXBRYB Oct 21, 2018 at 12:22 AM about the 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible RWD

Question type: General

I currently have started restoring a 1968
mustang convertible. The shop that is helping
noticed some unusual things with the car.
After a search thru Marti autoworks they say
it is a one of one. I’m second owner, 83000
documented miles, 302 4 Barrel, 3 speed,
triple black. My question is it being a one of
one, does it increase the value a lot? Any
suggestions on getting a good estimate?

There are so many possibilities and combinations of features that there are probably a lot of unique Mustangs out there. The bottom line is that it is a 68 Mustang convertible and that is a good thing. I suppose you could try to ask a premium but unless the car has rare and desirable options I doubt it is worth more than any other similar Mustang. You could contact a Mustang club to find an expert opinion.
