68 Mustang = 64 Thunderbird

Asked by grnlight Nov 20, 2013 at 12:00 AM about the 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe RWD

Question type: Car Customization

Here's the question, all help is requested and appreciated.

I have a 68 Mustang with 302, mostly stock. Will be upgrading to 9in rear, suspension and
some others. I also have a 64 Thunderbird that I rebuilt the 390, tranny and put disc
brakes up front. My concern or question is, I want to see what I may be able to salvage
from the T-bird to the pony. Ive been seeing mixed reviews on swapping engine, but most
importantly, I want to know if I can salvage the disc brake conversion I put on the T-bird
and transfer them to the pony.. Any help??

Appreciate the feedback, but I'm not looking to buy a whole new kit. I'm looking to salvage what I can from the T-Bird and use what I can first before having to open the wallet and purchase everything new.
