keeps stalling out when the outside temp hot like over 85"

86 mustang,  will not keep running,go about 5 or 10 miles and stops dead with
no gas in the carb, pure something in carb and go another 5 or 50 miles and
the samething again. but will run all night long in cooler weather ??

I was told by a ford man,it was the carbon filter tank, replaced it with the same old problem exists. if it was the fuel lines,it would do it all the time,not only when it gets hot,you can drive this car all winter with no problem..

Thank You that will be something to look into, I always though it to be a gas problem but not the pump. its got that EFI carb ...
