95 Acura Integra starting problem, help?

Well, I've had a starting problem with
the car for a while. It cranks fine but
for some reason it just won't start. I
changed the battery to a new one
and before we changed it we tested
the alternator, so it's still good. The
new battery fixed the starting issue
for about a day. Then it came back,
the starting problem.. We changed
the spark plugs and it fixed the
starting problem for about 2 days,
then it the problem came back. I
changed the main relay and once
again, it was only a temporary fix. I
currently changed the distributor cap
and rotor, it was installed correctly,
but it seemed to make the starting
problem worse. It cranks fine but the
engine just won't start. Please help

Have you checked for,fire and fuel?

I have the same problem wth my car it overheat n won't start I gotta wait till it cool off I went to a mechanic and he said it's the knock sensor.... What you think?? Please this is driving me crazy I have an accura Integra 1997

How do I check for fuel or fire? Please help. I cant spend anymore money. I have been sick and not worked for a week. So I need to find the problem. Main relay/ changed distributor/changed gas pump /changed something about under the car for seat./changed. I dont know what else to do. I dont want to have to sell it :( I love my car my overheating fans are not turning on. But the mechanic says that's not the problem. A friend told me about the starter... but I just cant keep spending money :(
