Electric radiator fan

Just bought 1988mustang gt. 5 l  5speed.  The fan is electric. Normally. Runs cool. ,
except when a/c is turned on it immediately. Gets much hotter and will overheat if idleing

Your fans should run constantly if ac is on and you are idling. If they are not I would check fan relays and fuses. If they are fine then check to see if fan motor is getting power to come on. If it is and it's not coming on then probably need new fan motor.
