if i changed my alternator do i need to reset my computer

I recently changed my alternator and my car start acting up afterwards. Had the alternator check and battery also they are good now. do I need to reset my computer if so how?

No you shouldn't have to. Do you have a light on the dash that is on?

There is no check engine light on. The car will drive for about 25 miles then lose all power. It will stay running but no response when you press the gas pedal. You have to stop shut it off and start again.
There is a Throttle Positioning Sensor on the side of the throttle body that adjusts the fuel when you step on the gas. Also there is a module down somewhere by the gas pedal that coincides with the TPS. Either one of these could be the problem. The TPS can be checked at a Auto Zone if it were to be taken off. I'm not sure how to test the module.

Turns out that after 3 alternators finally took it to nissan dealer and had them replace it. It runs better than ever now. Stay with nissan parts instead of auto zone.
was it your alternator that was the problem
having trouble with my 2009 Nissan Altima driving around 3 or 5 miles or maybe 1/2 mile then loose all power
Theere is a relearn process you have to do for the TPS after you disconnect the battery. I am having the same issue right now.

I have a 2011 Honda Accord I replace the battery I replace the alternator and now my battery light is coming on what could be the problem or what cause the battery light to come on
