How to fix 2007 Ford Freestyle interior lights come on intermittently while driving?

I suspect you have a door switch that is loose or out of adjustment.

Wiggle the key in the ignition and it should shut off and stay off. My son notice the key moved in the ignition when the light went off. Each time I start the vehicle, I turn the key a bit and it keeps the light off.

Its the ignition switch, just giggle it to make sure,this is what mine does.

It's the ignition. This is a common problem with these freestyles. Mine goes off if I wiggle the key a tiny bit or slap the steering wheel twice lol (it works though)
