Replacing '07 focus block heater aka frost plug. Should I drain the coolant/antifreeze 1st?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm replacing the block heater element aka the frost plug in my 2007 focus (2.0L engine). I
think it warms the coolant/antifreeze in the block and i'm expecting some fluid to come out
when I change the part but I'm not sure if I should drain the whole system before or not.
I'm thinking not but if anyone has experience then holler thanks. -JRW
