I don't know what you mean by, "it screams"? W/o key in crank position, something is making noise? With engine cranking, it's not normal cranking sounds? What about your serpentine belt? With engine cranking, maybe a belt drive pulley trying to freeze up? I just trying to think where is the scream coming from?
