Flush a oil cooler

How do you flush or back flush an oil cooler.

I have done it a few times, the best way is to remove the oil cooler and fill it about half way with brake cleaner, cap both ends with your thumbs and shake. You may need to do it a few time until the cleaner comes out clear.
