Cranks slow when engine is hot

Asked by barney64 Oct 15, 2013 at 10:57 AM about the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Touring FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Pacifica cranks and starts fine when its cold however if I have been driving for a while and it comes up to normal operating temperatures and then turn it off and then try to restart it it cranks very slow almost seems like dead battery I have had the battery tested at Auto Zone and they say it is good. I have recently replaced the Altenator.

hard to crank when hot can often be traced to the starter.
