Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 07 Monte Carlo Lt with 72,000
miles.I bought it knowing it had a slight oil leak.I
had a mechanic come look at it he said its coming
from above the oil filter not from the rear and front
valve cover seals that got fixed already. What do
you think about this?

I will double check the valve cover gaskets. He said that it could be the oil sensor above the oil filter. The oil leak is in the front but its not much at all.And that I can put a stop leak and my car should be fine. Untill I fix that problem.
