Coolant flush process

Asked by Crystal May 18, 2017 at 02:11 AM about the 2007 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How much coolant do I add into the radiator fill
neck if it's not attached to the radiator and I don't
know what "full" means. I have 3 gallons of 50/50
mix, how many of those gallons do I put into the
radiator fill neck and how many gallons of that go
into the coolant recovery tank? Thanks

After the coolant flush and if you need to know how to do that, check on you tube, but then the cooling system needs to be purged from the air pockets. Here is a video on how to fill a cooling system and purge it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUpXgAJ1gjU
