where is the fan sensor located on a 2007 chevy colbalt

if you hook the fan straight to the battery it runs but when you hook it back up to whre it belongs it doesnt work

You have two relays for fan controls, one located off of the wiring loom between the fans and one additional near the upper radiator hose off of the same loom. You also have a temp sensor that supplys info to your pcm, that is located just by the oil fill cap next to two pipes. Next you have 4 relays your engine compartment box. Hope this helps some.

I have a problem with the temperature going up. It's got water flow through the pump new thermostat all new anterfrezze what roung with it temperature going up to 240 dose the fan have a high and low
