my 2006 highlander after about 5 miles the battery,track,and VSC lights come on. I changed battery and altenater no luck?

after about 5 miles my battery , VSC, and track lights come on. ive changed the battery and altenater with no luck?

Toyota Highlanders are notorious for the VSC, or Traction Control light to come on when it's really an EVAP problem. Why is a mystery, but I have been through this. You might try a new gas cap and see this thread: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-c3961_ds548625

2006 highlander v-6, Last evening battery lite came on. then it would go out when keeping the rpms up at traffic light. Got near home abc brake lights on engine stalling turned headlights off Hard to believe I coasted to my driveway! Alternator whine! It be dead!
