Long distance travel

Car runs fine except for the rattling I hear under the hood. It sounds like
something is shaking but the engine shakes naturally. Every month the time will
reset to 12:00 soon as the engine turns off. I want to drive 7 1/2 hrs out of town
but I'm not sure if it will make the trip.
