Question type: Maintenance & Repair
It's a brand new radiator that I put in and when I got it checked out the
mechanic said that should fix the problem. There is no leak from the radiator
but I;m thinking maybe I need to replace the fan? Any thoughts?
Did the mechanic not check that it actually fixed the problem, or did he charge you for a radiator you didn't need? Don't start just throwing parts at a car hoping one will fix the problem, you need to diagnose just what part is faulty. If the fan is not working, it may not actually be the fan itself but a much cheaper part to replace like a temperature sensor. You might even just have trapped air in the system. Let someone troubleshoot the problem THEN decide what parts to replace.

After a couple attempts it finally starts and runs fine. Battery tested fine, replaced starter. Please help. I'm worried it won't start when daughter is driving it to or from school.
