Locating sales info

Asked by tshaf Jan 06, 2015 at 10:53 AM about the 1964 Ford Mustang Coupe RWD

Question type: General

I purchased a 1964 Mustang in Alexandra Virginia, Cherner-Shirlington Ford ?. I tried locating the dealer with no luck. Automatic, 260, Poppy Red, consul, white interior, with pin stripe.and no side vent, with chrome rocker panel. This is all the info I have on the car.
I was told this car was the first in D.C area. Moved to Pittsburgh area and traded for 1967
396 SS Chevelle. Saw the Mustang one time and last time around PIT airport. If I could locate original sales info I could locate VIN#    TNX.  boeing707@comcast.net

Is this a question? did you buy it? Thru this site? Is this the only Mustang in America? I don't get it-

I own a '68 Mustang GT convertible sold new at Cherner. Cherner Ford in Shirlington closed in the early 1970's and was replaced by Jerry's Ford in Annandale, which is still in business. See this link: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2007/jun/22/jerrys-ford-relies-on- quality-employees/
