Oil pressure

Just put in oil pump. Osu. Filter. Ect. On
my 07 gmc sierra. Still oil pressure  
runs at about 20 psi at idle..35 to 40
driving..what up with my 6.0.

I have seen the motors with a lot of problems with the crank shaft and bearings worn out. You should have plastic gauge the bearings with had pan off that would have giving you an ideal of the motor condition

Even if that pressure is accurate that is fine any oil pressure is good oil pressure. If you are really concerned maybe try a thicker oil you probably run 5w-30 on your next oil change try 10w-30 but like I said if you have oil pressure your ok
