2007 range rover won’t start

2007 range rover won’t start When I turn the
key forward everything lights up as it should
but when I turn the key all the way over to
start it I’m getting absolutely nothing. Is there
some security feature that is causing this or
is it something different?

Bought a battery and car starts up every morning if I take post off battery at night . put post back on battery after leaving it off at night. Every morning. Car runs and starts all day if I dnt open up car door 6 are 7 times. Is it the starter still

Battery always dies if I live post on battery and the battery is brand new
