2007 range rover won’t start
2007 range rover won’t start When I turn the
key forward everything lights up as it should
but when I turn the key all the way over to
start it I’m getting absolutely nothing. Is there
some security feature that is causing this or
is it something different?
If you have a security issue, there will be a dashboard warning light about it. If no light, it's most likely a dying battery. You have enough juice to light the lights, but not enough to turn the starter motor. Jump start the car properly; leave donor hooked up long enough to charge your battery, at least ten minutes. If your car starts, fine. If it does not start, replace your battery. After either of these, go to an auto parts store and have any codes read. They may point you to the reason your battery died.
Bought a battery and car starts up every morning if I take post off battery at night . put post back on battery after leaving it off at night. Every morning. Car runs and starts all day if I dnt open up car door 6 are 7 times. Is it the starter still
Battery always dies if I live post on battery and the battery is brand new
My car is a 2007 land rover range rover
You have a parasitic drain; it's like leaving your lights on. The drain is caused by a broken switch that stays in the closed position allowing constant current draw, or a a broken wire or other conductor doing this. You just need to find the electrical fault and fix it, and you will be fine.
