does my car have a shut off switch for the fuel pump?

Asked by emiles213 Sep 01, 2015 at 07:29 PM about the 2007 Chrysler Town & Country Touring LWB FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turned my car off and it wouldn't start back up. It would turn over, and sometimes it starts and shut right back off

It usually has 3 things to turn it off/on or stop it from pumping ... a fuse ... a relay ...and the ignition. /// the pressure switch is normally located at the pump itself. Most cars have an audible pumping sequence when you first turn the key you should heat the pump cycle for just a few seconds
