I cannot find a simple instructions for replacing the backup lamp, there is reference to taking the panel off, does is simply pull off so it can be replaced?

How do I access the backup lamp to replace it? I see reference to removing
the lift gate panel however, does it pull right off and it can be snapped back
into place after I access the lamp to be replaced?

The bulb sockets twist out a 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Pull the bulb out from the bulb socket, and push in the new bulb. Before reassembly, make sure the bulb is working so you don't have to tare it apart again. Sometimes you have to move the bulb a bit in the socket to make contact.
