Also ñeed to know if I can take off my charcoal canister and hose and plug up the hole on my carberater

look under the hood there may be a diagram , if you block that line it will change the air/fuel ratio , it's usually best to run things as the were designed

My smog pump is missing does that matter or have anything to do with my car running lean and stuff?
