Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Im thinking about buying this 1999 Acura CL and the guy wants $4,000.00 for it.  It has
138,000 mi on it. The interior and exterior are in great shape. I want to make sure the

I have a 2001 cl with 1001, 000 mi I just did the timming belt water pump tensioner and another belt when I looked at the old belt it looked like it would have been good for another yr at least but heres the reason why I feel that the belt was in such good condition the car it has always been garaged at night so I feel that that was the defining factor why the belt did last that long the dealer reccomends 7 yrs or 90k if you take care of your car it can last longer if it breaks your out an engine so trust your feelings and search out the best deal acura is running a 25% off this service right now some honda dealers are doing the same and firestone will meet there prices and honor there coupons good luck and I hope I have helped you out
