bought a Range Rover from the Auction click but wont start what should i do?

Please help. It was a flood vehicle drain and change the ecm and the transfer case unit
everything seems to work well but can only hear a click sound when i turn the key.
Everything else work.

First make sure your battery is fully charged. If not a sealed battery, check to make sure you have no dry cells. Make sure cables are tight and there's no corrosion.Check fuses. If all seems good and you still get a click, try this: Jack up vehicle. Locate starter. Have someone hold the key to the ON position, like they are starting the vehicle. As they hold the key, rap on the starter with a hammer. If engine suddenly turns over, you have a bad starter. You will need to replace it.

The starter was bad to I have replaced it, but still just the click of the relay, when I give it a direct connection to the starter it turns fine but not from the switch key any idea?
Did you put in a new starter relay also?
