Acura MDX Recal clearance letter

I am planning to buy a MDX in USA but I need a recall clearance letter to be able to register it in Canada. I heard from some Acura dealer that Acura won't give me a recall clearance letter if I am not a US citizen. Does anymore know about this topic?

I just recently imported an 03 MDX from the US to Canada. You don't need a recall clearance letter. Just go to http://owners.acura.com/Landing.aspx and register your vehicle once you've bought it. You can then print out the page showing there are no recalls. Hope this helps.
