Also it was a recall issue but your model year might not have been included. You can try (no for sures here) to take out the key and swing the steering wheel back and forth from lock stop to lock stop and put key back in and try to start. I think you will find that this is a problem that Vette owner's with this anti-theft mechanism have had many times.
