2001 Land Rover Disco II

I have a 162k on a - maintained Disco - it's gone the last 40k miles w/o issues
other than regular maintenance.  First change on the head gaskets was @ 85k
miles.  Rover shop quote on head gaskets (if it is worth it) $3800  min.  There
are 2 rover shops and a dealership in my area and all are comparable.  Fix?
New engine an option? or call it.  Thanks!
