BCU fuse causing battery discharge

Asked by kenorric Nov 16, 2014 at 06:04 AM about the 2000 Land Rover Discovery Series II 4 Dr STD AWD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,
I know nothing about cars......My battery was losing charge overnight, so I opened the
fuse box in the engine and by process of elimination I discovered that if I removed fuse
no.13 (BCU) the battery stabilised. That fuse seems to be in cahoots with several
circuits, where to I go from here?

Put that fuse in your pocket and drive to a Mercedes Benz dealer and trade it in for a ML. That land Rover is a money pit.
