i have a restricted performance message on my 03 STR

I need help in solving this RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE message on my 2003 Jaguar STR. It will not let engage the supercharger when I press down on gas pedal rather hard, it will jerk a bit. I can bring it up to 75mph with a slow steady press on gas pedal. If I erase the code with my scanner, it will accelerate with supercharger engaged if pressed hard. Any ideas?

RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE! It couldn't have said it any plainer. You have a problem with the blower and erasing the code will not fix it. You don't say what the code is/was so no more help is available.
jag 2003 s type just show restricte performance
I also have a 03 STR - its the Mass Air flow Sensor easy to replace. Must got supercharger MAS regular one won't work.
Are you sure that’s the problem I have the same issue
no need to guess or wonder,it is always the same thing when he SC doesn't engage, power doesn't get to the ic auxilliary pump,just rewire or find the short.
