I drove my '06 QX56 on the beach in Daytona, FL this past Spring!!! Had no problems whatsoever!! Through it in 4WD and took off, didn't go crazy, wasn't doing "donuts" in the sand, but drove it in Wet & Dry Sand and it performed very well! Made sure I took it to the car wash right after just to get the salt of the under carriage too!
