Depends on your credit score. If you have real good credit, one of the problems is banks don't usually finance cars more than 5 years old, and how much does the car cost? At age 22 you will probably have to produce half the cost. Or pay an obscene 8 or 9%. But let's go back, how much is the car?

Hmm? I'm guessing you spotted one for a decent price...You CAN get an '05 with decent miles (approx. 30k miles) for around $27-30k (at least in my area). There are lenders who specialize in financing older cars...6-7+ year old cars..Check this out: http://www.ehow.com/how_7860152_finance-older-cars.html However, your credit score, income, length of time at job, and down payment are ALL factors, You MAY need a co-signer also. Something told me to check Consumer Reports on the '05 model year Vette. Even though it was a "redesign" year for the Vette, there are several serious trouble spots on the '05: Transmission, Engine Cooling, Drive System as well as Minor Engine problems...The 2004 Vette (or the 2006) are better choices according to CR. Finally, your Insurance Payments will be insanely high at 22 years old!
