Asked by GuruDWCC6 Aug 14, 2017 at 05:08 PM about the 1997 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon AWD

Question type: General

when accelerating the car starts to loose power, struggles to keep up, then
stalls at low RPM, this is an intermittent problem, mostly on hot days, engine
temp normal, recently changed the tranny fluid and filter, and upstream OBD
sensor, can you tell me what  is going on here.

Get codes pulled and post them. All mechanics start with codes from ECM. Any auto parts store will pull your codes free.
