Sounds like it could be one of a few different things. I'd check the fuel pump and maybe the filter, or the crank position sensor, or the DI cassette. I've had all 3 of those go bad and put me in a similar situation. If you don't know how to test or replace any of those, Google will be your friend. Or saabcentral is a good place as well. If all else fails, I'd take it to a Saab mechanic with a tech II so they can pinpoint your problem.
