Turn Signal

Asked by tallwhitegirl Oct 09, 2012 at 12:36 PM about the 1999 Saab 9-5 4 Dr SE V6t Turbo Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The right turn signal blinks erractically when signaling and now the battery of 2 years has needed to be replaced. As a result, the radio will sometimes stay on after the keys have been removed and the key fob will not lock or unlock. Not always, just when in the mood. Are all these electrical issues connected?

the electrical system are not likly connected. you my have two different problems. first the turn signal issue may be caused by a simple bulb needing replacement. as far as the radio /key issue it could be caused by an ign./key staying on even when you think it off this would cause the radio to stay on and run down a good battery.
