Driver window won't go up all the way

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Drivers side window is down, when I try to close it, it only goes up about a third of the
way and automatically closes again. The regulator must be working or it shouldn't go up
at all. It seems to be operating smoothly, doesn't seem like a track problem. Any
suggestions as to what it could be? Thanks for any help!
