Car not shifting to the next gear

I just hear the gas pressure when I press the gas
pedal and when I reach 50 mph the car want go
any faster or shift to the next level no matter how
much I press the gas or shift it manual what can be
the cause of that I had spark plugs done I change
my mass airflow sensor and I just put anithef trans
in my car like two months ago think I should
change the filter to see if that will work

the motor doesn't rev when you hit the gas at 50 ? trans fluid's at the right level ? when you put the other tranny in it had a new torque converter and filter ?
