is there a switch to turn on or off passenger air bag

when someone is in passenger seat light comes on

That is what it is supose to do. When there is wieght in the seat it activates the air bag system. Why would you want to deactivate it? it is for the passangers saftey

I would assume the light is saying your sitting in seat and im not functioning
