what is a DCS shift gear

why does my car say check "DCS shift
gear" ? Is it something to be
concerned about

DSC has to do with Dynamic traction. Dynamic mode the checkered flag button, does not turn on Trac DSC. that is a separate button on the console. You can set it to track DSC or turn off DSC completely with the traction control button. When used correctly, it puts the car into a "sports type" mode and enhances handling.

Mine comes on once in awhile during very cold weather, then it goes off. I've heard that it won't affect driving. Good luck!
