Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few days ago the aircon stopped working. This morning I lost power steering
and the engine cut out. I pulled over with smoke emanating from the right side,
low in the engine (looks like from the fan belt drive area). It is Sunday so no
mechanic. Any ideas as to the problem (serpentine belt is suggested)

That's what it sounds like. Possibly frozen idler pulley too.
