I HAVE A 2000 GMC WITH A 6.0 IN IT. THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON IN
THE INFORMATION CENTER IN THE DASH , THE MOTOR DIES IT JUST
QUITS NO STUMBLE NOTHING JUST DIES. HOW EVER YOU CAN
RESTART THE MOTOR RIGHT AWAY, I HAVE EVEN PUT THE TRUCK IN
NUETRAL AND STARTED IT BACK UP . WHAT IS GOING ON.

hi well it looks like i had to figure this out on my own. no thanks this site been weeks with no answer from anyone here?? it turns out that the chevy/gmc 2500 the ignition switch goes bad. not the key switch but the ignition switch. it is the wire section of the ignition. they fail and will give all kinds of ghost problems. from bad computer to bad key switch and none of those parts are bad. thanks
