Where is the Starter motor on a camaro RS V8 throtle body located?

Hey g0fightwin! I couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the starter on your 1991 Camaro but i did learn a lot about hot starting problems in that line. From what I could gather I would have you get under the car and look up under the exhaust system. Seems like some starters suffer from the effects of engine/exhaust heat because of it's location. Chances are that there is the Chilton's for your Camaro on the shelf of your local library, and certainly there's one in your local parts store. You can probably take a ride and nail down the exact location that way and get some tips for a switch out if that's what you need to do, or troubleshooting. Good luck!
