I have a 2007 Toyota Camry and just recently my car will not accelerate when trying to pass someone or when accelerating up a hill. The check engine light blinks but does not stay on. I just easy up on the gas and it corrects itself and the light stops blinking.

I had this problem with my 05 trailblazer 3 different times. It is most likely a coil pack that needs to be replaced, or a spark plug. My engine light would blink when I tried to accelerate, which notifying you of a misfire. It would stop blinking when I let off of the gas, or went really slow. Probably none of the spark plugs in your car have been changed. About a $100 fix.
